The Chaldean Catholic Eparchy of Aleppo (also Halab in Arabic, or Beroa as in Antiquity) is the only eparchy (Eastern Catholic diocese) of the Chaldean Catholic Church (which uses the Syro-Oriental Rite, in Syriac or Aramaic languages) in Syria. It is directly subject to the Chaldean Catholic Patriarch of Babylon (actually in Baghdad, Iraq), not part of any ecclesiastical province. Its cathedral episcopal see is the St. Joseph's Cathedral, in Aleppo, the largest city in Syria. == History == Established in 1901 as Eparchy (Diocese) of Syria, on territory not previously covered by its church. Renamed after its see on 3 July 1957 as Diocese of Aleppo, having gained territory from the suppressed Chaldean Catholic Eparchy of Gazireh. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Chaldean Catholic Eparchy of Aleppo」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
